Alco-Check Personal Breathalyzer Kits

Designed primarily for retail sale these superb new kits, packaged in a box the size of an average cigarette packet, are now available for online sale.  Most importantly, unlike many cheap blow-tube breathalyzers, these come with a bag that is specifically designed for use with the tube - because if the volume of air blown through the tube is not an exact quantity, then it is IMPOSSIBLE to know the concentration of alcohol in the breath.

Tubes that are not supplied with a bag are utterly useless!

Based upon the reliable, proven and certified Alco-Check tube from Dräeger that has been used by the UK Police for decades, they are pre-set at the UK limit of 80mg/100ml (0.08%BAC) with a line across the tube. In fact these breathalyzer tubes still hold a UK Home Office Approval Certificate for use by UK Police Forces!

The handling of Alco-Check is especially easy. Because of the plastic shell, breaking the tube is nearly impossible. The glass remains whole because the activation remains in the plastic shell. If your breath contains alcohol, the tube filling changes its colour from yellow to green.

If you are looking for a cheap, simple solution to keep in the drawer for next time you think you may have gone a little too far last night they are ideal.  For more regular use a digital detector is probably a better bet, however you have the assurance with Alco-Check that you are using a product designed for European use and still in regular use with Police Forces across the continent.
