Easy and reliable
Three simple steps – collect, test and store – are the trademark of the
Dräger DrugCheckTM. The testing kit comprises a sampler, test tube and
test strip. Sampling is minimally invasive, does not embarrass the test
subject unnecessarily, and permits precise control of the sampling
process. This means that attempts at tampering can be more or less
completely thwarted, establishing a basis of trust between user and test
subject.
Hygienic
The samplers are individually and hygienically packaged. When the oral
fluid sampler is squeezed out into the test tube, it clips into place
automatically, ensuring hygienic and drip-free disposal of the test kit
components.
Highly Sensitive
Within just ten minutes, illegal substances (cocaine, opiates,
amphetamines, methamphetamines, phencyclidine and cannabinoids) can be
reliably detected using the test strip before they revert to their
respective metabolites. Immunochemical detection of Δ9
tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9 THC) – the psychoactive component in marijuana,
hashish and hashish oil – reacts with a particularly high level of
sensitivity. |
Onsite Analysis & Confirmations
As well as achieving very high sensitivity, the test offers the user many
other advantages. The Dräger DrugCheck principle ensures that samples
are analysed directly on site for immediate results.
Should a confirmation lab test be required subsequent to a positive Oral
DrugCheck test, we would recommend the use of the
Dräeger DCD5000
sample collection kit. This is still salvia based (thereby
avoiding all the difficulties of Urine Sampling) but provides the
dual-sample controls and full chain of custody reporting required for
lab confirmations. The DCD5000 kits are packed in 20's and are available
to special order only.
