Dräeger DrugTest 5000 Digital Drug Analyzer

The Dräger DrugTest 5000® System is an onsite digital testing system for the qualitative detection of amphetamines,designer amphetamines, cocaine metabolites, opiates and cannabinoids in oral fluid samples.  The first opto-electronic analyzer available for portable and onsite use, it allows instant test results to be obtained by companies' in-house personnel without the need for any specialised training, eliminating costly medically-supervised testing for routine screening operations.

Results are displayed on the built-in screen but can also be printed from the Wireless Printer (as used with the 6810 and 7510 Breathalyzers) but most importantly there is no subjective judgment required from the operator; the results are a simple, clear, "Pass" or "Fail". No arguments.

Low Cost Sampling - from £15
The samplers are supplied in individually sealed packs and can be supplied as 4, 5 or 6 Panel tests - the most commonly used being the 6 panel tests.  A pack of 20 costs £360, which works out at just £18 per test.  Packs have a shelf life of 12 months so we also offer a supply contract based on the supply of a box per month on Direct Debit for just £295/box - that's less than £15/test!

Hygienic
The samplers are individually and hygienically packaged and clip into place automatically, ensuring hygienic and drip-free disposal of the test kit components.

If you are testing to discover more about a persons' lifestyle; whether for instance they were taking drugs the night before; then urine or hair sampling can be useful. If however you want to know if a person is impaired AT WORK, here and now - then Oral sampling is the way to go.

Easy and reliable
The system consists of two main components: the Dräger DrugTest® Kit for Oral Fluids and the Dräger DrugTest® Analyzer (test evaluation reader and data management system).

The Analyzer is designed both for mobile use at control points ("Point-of-Collection-Test") and for stationary use. The novel technique requires a special opto-electronic device-supported excitation and analysis.

Easy-to-operate, the 5000 is intuitive and menu-driven via the device’s display screen. The Analyzer comes with comprehensive operating instructions including technical specification, source references, trouble-shooting and other useful system information.

On-Screen Results
The unambiguous measurement results are shown in an easy-to-read form on the illuminated display. This rules out the subjective evaluation of the results influenced by the user or environmental factors such as lighting conditions. The Dräger DrugTest 5000® system facilitates fast, reliable and easy drug detection.

Highly Sensitive
Within just ten minutes, illegal substances (cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamines, phencyclidine and cannabinoids) can be reliably detected using the test strip and detection of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – the psychoactive component in marijuana, hashish and hashish oil – is achieved with a particularly high level of sensitivity.

Onsite Analysis
As well as achieving very high sensitivity, the test offers the user many other advantages. The Dräger Drugtest 5000 ensures that samples are analyzed directly on site for immediate results.

Mobile and Printing Options
If required the standard the unit can be connected wirelessly with the optional thermal printing unit.  Also available are a purpose-designed mobile Carry Case and keyboard (for subject data entry prior to hard-copy printout)

Certified Lab Tests - only £99!
In many cases the accuracy and sensitivity of the 5000 will be sufficient for most companies needs. However, if a confirmation lab test IS required, because the 5000 has reliably identified the substance in question the lab can test solely for that drug only - significantly reducing the cost.

For just £99, our Pre-Paid Lab Sampling Kit includes everything you require to obtain a fully certified result sufficient to take court action if needed.  The kit contains a dual oral sampler (one is given to the testee for them to check themselves if they wish) along with Chain-of-Custody forms and instructions for sending to the lab.  All lab fees are included and the results provided within 5 days.  Just Sample, Seal and Send - Simple!
