Alco-Check Breathalyser Kits

Designed primarily for retail sale these superb new kits, packaged in a box the size of an average cigarette packet, are now available for online sale for occasional use by companies wanting an approved product at minimal cost.

As well in packs containing 10 of the normal retail boxes, these are also available as a bulk pack of 50 tubes & bags at a much more economical £ including vat - a net cost of just over £2.50/test.  Available as standard calibrated to 0.08% BAC (the current UK Drink Drive limit) they can also be supplied to special order (in bulk-packs only) rated to 0.05% BAC - please enquire here for further information.

Based upon the reliable, proven and certified Alco-Check tube from Dräeger that has been used by the UK Police for decades, they are pre-set at the UK limit of 80mg/100ml (0.08%BAC) with a line across the tube. The handling of Alco-Check is especially easy. Because of the plastic shell, breaking the tube is nearly impossible. The glass remains whole because the activation remains in the plastic shell. If your breath contains alcohol, the tube filling changes its colour from yellow to green.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, unlike similar blow-through tubes (such as "BreathScan") that do not utilise a bag, the use of the bag ensures an exact and equal air sample every time. If you don't know the volume of the sample that has been blown through the tube, the results is meaningless.

If you are looking for a cheap, simple solution to keep in the drawer for next time you think you may have gone a little too far last night they are ideal.  For more regular use a digital detector is probably a better bet, however you have the assurance with Alco-Check that you are using a product designed for European use and still in regular use with Police Forces across the continent.
